Jacques Benaroch, passionné de photographie depuis son adolescence, a débuté sa carrière professionnelle dans les années 70 en couvrant des concerts légendaires comme ceux des Rolling Stones, David Bowie ou Bob Marley. En parallèle, il a travaillé pour les magazines "Salut les copains" et "Podium", immortalisant les chanteurs français de l’époque yéyé. En 1980, il rejoint l'agence Sipa Press, où il organise des séances photo avec les plus grands artistes internationaux.

Il a également marqué les esprits sur les plateaux des Buttes Chaumont à Paris, en capturant notamment la célèbre photo des "Jackson Five" avec leur père. En mai 2003, Jacques Benaroch a été nommé Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite, une distinction accordée par Noëlle Lenoir, alors ministre des Affaires européennes, en reconnaissance de sa carrière exceptionnelle.
